Good session......Great session.... Darrick Vaughan 'schooled' all in attendance. It is during sessions like this we all realize how much The Golden Fold benefits all who are involved. Our next session is scheduled 10 22 2011. We are also now discussing the possibility of adding young ladies into The Golden Fold. It dawned upon the administrators of this program that young ladies can benefit from the wisdom and guidance of Big-Brother-Father figures as much as the boys are (Salutes to Sister Angelina for making such a compelling arguement, you were right). The Golden Fold Mentor Movement serves boys aged 11 – 17 as mentees and males aged 18 – 23 as movement interns by providing seminar based mentorship activities in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Participants enjoy a structured, supervised mentoring relationship with men of the community who have guidance, and life experiences to share with the youth.
