Our 2019 Carter G. Leadership Lecture Series Feb. - Apr. (2019)

Green Run High's GMAC (Gentlemen Making A Change), The Golden Fold Movement, and The Hampton Roads Committee of 200+ Men present their annual Youth Leadership Lecture Series. Named in honor of American educator Carter G. Woodson, the noted Father of Black History Month. Each session presents three community leaders who share secrets and habits of success and service. Tailored for Middle and High School Youth and their parents. The events are free and open to the public and are held at Green Run High School in Virginia Beach, Va. in the school's media center.
The first of our Carter G. Leadership Lecture Series, Lessons in History, features authors Jondalyn Holston and Eugene Holloman who will tell stories of achievement and the lessons they have learned in their lves. This event also features Actress Dr. Margaret Bell who will reenact narratives of Sojourner Truth and Harriett Tubman.
