This Saturday is a FREE special limited open-to-the-public session for The Golden Fold. Our session will move from 9:00 am until 12:00 at the Boys & Girls Club in Virginia Beach. We also will have a special session for parents and adult mentors during the same time. The only limit is the Young Leader sessions are for males in the 6th - 12th grades. All others will enjoy the Parent & Mentor sessions.
While our Young Leaders and guests will deal with topics on to being conscious of and ignoring the irresponsible messages and finding and embracing the responsible messages in popular Hip-Hop music, our parents and adult mentors will learn about college funding options, uplifting services in Virginia Beach, becoming aware of the irresponsible messages in music and videos and learning how to use the popular irresponsibility media to promote responsibility, and parenting strategies to develop young male leaders.
Please invite anyone you know who might benefit from this session as it is a limited open-to-the-public session. The only limit is the Young Leader sessions are for males in the 6th - 12th grades. All others will enjoy the Parent & Mentor sessions.

The Golden Fold is a "Brothers and Others" Community Improvement activity of the Gamma Xi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi and an Social Action project of the Men of S.A.B.B. of Virginia Beach's Tidewater Community College, and a Project Uplift activity for our community Big-Brothers. We meet the 2nd & 4th Saturday Monthly from 10:00 am - 12:00 am at Tidewater Community College's Virginia Beach Campus in room E-121 of the Lynnhaven Building.
