Newness alert !
We have entered discussions with Black Belt Sensi Washington to provide specialized 'Fighting / Self Defense/ Martial Arts / Boxing" guidance to our Young Leaders. We do not have a start date as of today. But.........He teaches a FREE class (Youth and Adult) each Tuesday and Thursday at the Boys and Girls Club from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Two of our Young Leaders are current students in the program. ALL are encouraged to participate. For more info' visit his website:

6/8/13 Saturday - We will have a regular session. This one is gonna' be good...........Get cha' game face on !
6/9/13 Sunday - Leadership Sunday. Our Young Leaders will attend the 10:45 am church service with our Leadership Guru Dr. Shawn who was recently installed as the new pastor at Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church (2201 Wingfield Avenue, Chesapeake). After service they will take a photo with Young Leader BV who becomes 13 on that day.
6/22/13 Saturday - Our last session for the Calendar year. (We will continue during the summer with more fun-oriented activities).
6/23/13 Sunday Dr. Shawn is installed at his new church. He has invited all to be a part of his installation. Details below.

The Golden Fold Mentor Movement serves youth (males and females) aged 11 – 18 by providing seminar based Big-Brother-type activities in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
