The May 2014 Golden Schedule ! Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day Month (May) ! 


Here is our schedule for May 2014

May 7th - Learn how to build a computer ! 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm @ Va. Beach & TCC Joint Use Library
Learn about the components of a computer and some tips on how to build one. This program will focus specifically on gaming computers.
This is the library next to TCC of Va. Beach (one block north from the corner of Buckner Farm & Rosemont Road.)

May 14th - Regular session @ Regular location @ Regular time !
Appreciate what Mama lived ! During this session our Young Leaders will have a Child Birth class to learn about the changes their mother's bodies underwent during pregnancy, delivery, and post delivery from actual Lamaze instructors as a part of our Science curriculum.

May 17th & 18th - Our Spring Leadership Weekend ! (Only for our 13 - 16 year old Young Leaders). May 17th 9am - 3pm & May 18th 2pm until 7 pm. Our Young Leaders will receive a lunch and ample snacks during this training. This will only be open to a few of our Young Leaders who have submitted applications to attend. This is another session in conjunction with Dare2Dream. We will have another Summer Leadership Academy in August 2014 !

May 28th - Regular session @ Regular location @ Regular time !

The Golden Fold Mentor Movement serves 6th - 12th grade youth by providing seminar based Big-Brother-type activities in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
